This November 2025 Refugee 613 webinar highlights early findings from the 2025 MTM Newcomers Survey and explores how to apply them in real settings, in ways that are practical and won’t add to your workload. The session reviewed communication patterns and gaps that affect outreach, program design, funding applications, and community partnerships.
MTM Newcomers is Canada’s first and longest-running annual survey dedicated to newcomer media and tech habits. It builds on more than two decades of insight from MTM 18+, and helps service providers, funders, policymakers, researchers, communities and sponsors understand how newcomers get information, stay connected, and access services. These insights support more effective programs, smarter resource allocation, and policies that reflect the specific needs and strengths of diverse newcomer communities: ultimately contributing to successful integration.
