How to build a case for your nonprofit to invest in technology (webinar recording)

In this July 2023 Ontario Nonprofit Network session, participants learned how to internally “sell” the need for technology within your nonprofit and highlight the expected benefits it will bring.

Nonprofits need technology to boost productivity, save money, manage risk, and increase their impact. But sometimes it can be difficult trying to convince decision-makers and your board to see the value in upfront and ongoing investments.

During this webinar, Kevin went over some of the important building blocks to create a compelling, results-focused internal business case to justify a technology purchase.

Webinar attendees learned how to:

• Identify and quantify the need for a certain technology
• Present the technology options that are available
• Understand and present various cost factors
• Show the return on investment and how success will be measured
• Establish the need to act sooner than later
