In a hybrid service delivery model with baseline capabilities and competencies, each Frontline Practitioner, Manager, Director, Executive Director/CEO, and newcomer should have the same understanding of what a baseline hybrid service delivery model can offer. Consistency is key. SPOs can exceed this baseline, developing solutions beyond and above the baseline. They may have internal resources, or be connected to external resources (possibly shared among other agencies) to ensure that they have the capacity to provide an expected level of hybrid service delivery.

This section explores promising practices and models outside of the immigrant serving sector with a specific focus on innovation, solutions, and implications that other sectors have been implementing to enhance services in their organizations. In particular, we are interested in the evolution of Virtual Care practices in health care.

Sectors and organizations are increasingly being asked to create their own data ethics standards, practices, and procedures. Organizations require the skills to gain meaningful insights from data in order to unleash the strength of data. Measuring service delivery outcomes in a hybrid service model practice requires a different lens than simply the quantitative one.

In the Digital Maturity Model approach, change management is crucial. People, processes, leadership, and organizational readiness require attention and development.

Best practice. Promising practice. There are many ways to name something that you think might be useful to know about in your work. Perhaps knowing about it might inspire you. It might even encourage you to replicate it. I've always liked the way the Cities of Migration project named the projects they kept an eye on as Good Ideas in Integration: "At its most basic, a Good Idea in integration is any program, activity or strategy that has made a difference in the successful integration of migrants in city-life. In this process, the city and all its residents have also benefited with increased social cohesion, greater urban prosperity and the richness that cultural diversity affords all communities."

I'm sharing a bunch of really great workshop and webinar recordings along a loose theme - information seeking, sharing, and sense-making. Each of these recordings stand alone, but they are worth considering along this theme and all contribute to some aspect of it.

Ongoing professional development, training, and learning is essential in our sector. There isn't enough consistent, ongoing, funded, and baseline training that occurs. For many, it's a task that individual workers must take on and maintain. That learning can take place formally, through courses, webinars, workshops, conferences, etc. It can also take place informally (or formally) in Communities of Practice. Here are some learning spaces that are specific to the sector, where both formal and informal learning takes place.
