This session was part of AMSSA's 2023 BC/Yukon Summit: Collectively Envisioning the Future of Settlement and Integration. Panelists discussed how a hybrid in-person/digital service delivery model can help organizations in the settlement and integration sector to create accessible, flexible and more choices for clients to access the services that they need. Knowing and understanding what is needed for digital transformation in the settlement and Integration sector would help the organizations in the sector to move towards the future of digitization of the sector.

You probably already know that IRCC has launched their national Call for Proposals. In this July 2023 Ontario Nonprofit Network session, participants learned how to internally “sell” the need for technology within your nonprofit and highlight the expected benefits it will bring.

In this October 2023 AlphaPlus session, presenters spoke about the software they use and the benefits/changes they have noticed. This included the owner of a Canadian company providing texting software (including a custom phone number to display when sending a text) to help answer questions about texting tools.

At the 2023 Metropolis Identities conference IRCC presented some findings and promising practices from their funding Service Delivery Improvement (SDI) groups from 2017 and 2020. You can review their conference presentation in this post.
