In this July 2023 Ontario Nonprofit Network session, participants learned how to internally “sell” the need for technology within your nonprofit and highlight the expected benefits it will bring.

In this October 2023 AlphaPlus session, presenters spoke about the software they use and the benefits/changes they have noticed. This included the owner of a Canadian company providing texting software (including a custom phone number to display when sending a text) to help answer questions about texting tools.

At #ElliiCon2023 the focus was on Humanity & Technology in ELT: Striking a Balance in the Age of AI. Ellii and leading English language experts came together for a free, two-day virtual conference to explore the intersection of technology and traditional teaching. Presenters explored how to maintain human connections with language students in the age of AI while incorporating practical tech tools that can free up more time for crucial aspects of learning.

This 2-day CERC Migration, Toronto Metropolitan University workshop brought together leaders in the settlement sector that have adopted Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their communications and service delivery practices in order to deliver programs to targeted audiences.

In this episode of the Technology and Human Services podcast I’m speaking with Sampada Kukade from Skills for Change, a Toronto based settlement and employment organization that is no stranger to technology innovation. However, what you’ll find in this conversation, and what I find infinitely useful is that even organizations who are large and growing such as Skills for Change still need support in their digital transformation. And as part of their support, Skills for Change joined a pilot project called Charity Growth Academy run by CanadaHelps, which has been providing organizations, nonprofits, specifically, and charities with support around their digital transformation.
